What fields sync from HRIS to Namely Time?

The following fields sync from HRIS to Namely Time:

  • First and last name.

    • Preferred name can replace legal first name if the option is selected in the HRIS platform. This functionality can be located under the following tabs in HRIS > Company > Settings > Features > Time. Under Time checkmark Use Preferred Name instead of First Name in Namely Time.

  • Email address.

  • Hire date.

  • Namely Time Employee and/or Manager Role.

  • Pay Group.

  • GUID.

    • This is a system-generated number that can be located in the URL of the employee's People profile in HRIS. GUIDs are used instead of SSN or Namely Time IDs when exporting hours from Namely Time into the payroll platform. Below is an example of a GUID.

TIP:

Since Namely Time is a third-party platform, it will take up to 30 minutes for new updates or recently hired employees to appear. Additionally, employees will not appear until their date of hire.
